They're Here...

So C&K have made the trek all the way to good ol' Michigan!

To backtrack a little bit, we left Utah two weeks ago on Thursday, drove ALL day...we drove through Utah...we drove through Wyoming...and drove through most of Nebraska until dark hit. But with our luck, the town we decided to stop in for the evening was hosting several events and we ended up going to hotel after hotel trying to find a bed...we got the second to last bed in town. And it definitely looked like the second to last bed I'd take in town! Gross! Bugs all over the bathroom floor, the stench of sweat and cigarettes mingling into one nasty display of hospitality. I'm not a big fan of Nebraska.

Day two, we finished through Nebraska and make it all the way to St. Joseph, MI! We had a fun time going through Chicago (K almost got creamed, multiple times...seriously, I almost died!) and settled down for the night. We had a much nicer room on day two and were so glad to nestle in for a good nights sleep.

Day three, we made it to Lansing! Yeah, we could've been there on the second day, but why rush it? Amazingly enough, we had no clue which exit to take off the freeway and guessed, and what do you know, we were a couple of blocks away from our apartments! So we moved in and have been plugging away ever since!

So that's how the C&K made it to MI. Any questions?
