Freak Weather!

C & K learned something very important yesterday - there is a difference between a "tornado watch" and a "tornado warning." A tornado watch means that tornados are possible in the area, a tornado warning means that a tornado has been sighted and it is time to take shelter. Yesterday we had a tornado warning here, about 30 miles from our apartment. Ahhhh! But neither of got us to see it, we just had to deal with the crazy weather. The rain was so bad that I ran from the entrance of my office to my car (took about 5 seconds) and I was soaked to the bone. Freak weather!

C has his first full day at Cooley yesterday. He is doing the jump start program and he got lots of good tips on cases and briefing. He will be a wonderful law student and he's prepared to start cracking the books! That and he has some studying and reading to do before school officially starts.

K has just been working. Nothing spectacular for her. We are finally starting to decorate our apartment, it's a mess! I never realized how much shelving space we had in our last apartment - until now! We have so many extra pictures that we have no where to put but I don't have the heart to toss them out! What's a girl to do?

We should probably get moving for the day, and start nailing some holes in the wall! To anyone associated with on-campus housing, I'm putting holes in the walls! Forget 3M strips!
