Family Recipes Revealed!

Okay, so maybe they aren't really family recipes - but they are delicious and I love to eat them! So Pace Sauce, the recipes are below, per your request (so stop buggin me! j/k!).

Buckeye Peanut Butter Balls
1 1/2 C creamy peanut butter
1/2 C softened butter/margerine
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 salt
3/4 C powdered sugar
Chocolate Coating (1 lb chocolate candy coating & 2 tbls crisco shortening)

Mix in large bowl using low speed on beaters adding powdered sugar gradually. Shape into small balls. Place on wax tray and chill. After fully chilled, dip using a toothpick into chocolate coating to coat 3/4 of ball.

Peanut Butter Gorilla Poops
1 C sugar
1 C brown sugar
3 tbl cocoa
1/2 C milk
1 square margarine
pinch salt
1/2 C peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
3 C quick oats
1 tsp vanilla
1 C coconut

Mix and boil first four ingredients for one minute; stir in margarine, salt, and peanut butter until completely mixed. Remove from heat and add quick oats until mixed and oats are completely coated. Let stand for five minutes; then add vanilla and coconut. Stir until mixed then drop by heaping teaspoon onto wax paper.

Mary Hills' Best Damn Tomato Soup (the official title or you can call it Tomato Bisque)
1 can Tomato soup
1 can diced tomatos
1 small can green chilis*
1 can evaporated milk
1 C milk
1 cube butter
1/2+ tsp basil

Process diced tomatoes and chilis until completely liquified in blender. Mix all ingredients together, heat well, and serve.
*K's alterations: I generally only use about half, if any, of the green chilis. If you don't have any of the diced tomatoes you can substitute another can of tomato soup.

There you go Pace! Have fun cooking and let me know what else you need!

Nice names for your recipes. I am going to have to try the "gorilla poops" one just because my boys would love to make them and tell everyone that they made it. They really enjoy the things that their bodies can do! LOL

You gave away the gorilla poops recipe! That's cause for disowning in our family.

How's the advent calendar looking? Can't wait to see you!!
