Twelve (12)

Why are there the twelve days of Christmas? Why are there twelve jurors on a panel? Why are there still twelve days until we go home?

Seriously, I'm so excited - only twelve days until we are mid-air making the journey back to the homestate! Get ready because we are going to have a blast! Things here have been interesting. C is studying non-stop, not that he hasn't been this entire semester, but he's really kicked it up a notch in preparation for this next week of finals. He takes his last final on December 14th and then according to tradition (for K at least) we will pop the bubbly and toast the semester goodbye! I'm sorry that you won't be here to enjoy it with me this time Pace, you'll have to pop one yourself after your last final!

It has snowed again this week. We've discovered that they really don't like to plough the roads here...they either salt them or lay down sand. My beast of a car, that beautiful blue machine, has white marks all over it from the salt, somehow I'm going to have to get it washed so it doesn't rust away!

So I randomly decided to see if we had any Christmas decorations and I found our two little 1 ft trees! They are so little and the ornaments I hung on them are as big as the trees themselves, but it is nice to have a little decoration in our apartment. People laugh at us though when they see our pathetic attempt at Christmas decorating...and I don't blame them!

Hooray for twelve days, hooray for small trees, and I hope that you aren't still pondering the questions at the beginning of the blog, because I have no answers for you!
