Lazy Days

I must admit up front that I have been completely lazy lately. If you know me, you know that it is driving me crazy! Big thanks to my mom and Numismatist because they have been assigning me projects to keep me busy...I'm just not as skilled as they are! I've been working on this 9 patch quilt and geez, this is detailed stuff! I am proud of myself for finishing two more baby quilts though! They are pictured below (just for you Numismatist!) and are similar to the first rail fence I made and gave away. These just are different sizes and different backings...hooray for leftover fabric!

C has been studying again for school and is starting on his outlines already. He hasn't even gotten his grades back from last semester and he's preparing for this semesters finals, doesn't that sound strange? C also had the opportunity to go to the Detroit temple on Saturday with our branch's Young Men, how fun is that? Plus, they had a stake youth dance later that night, so he was able to attend that as well. C is definitely being kept busy!

Luckily, I was able to go head to Girls' Night Out! A huge group of us went and saw the movie 27 Dresses (really cute and definitely a chick flick!) then went to Applebee's for dinner. Below is the picture (courtesy of Janee - thanks!).

I know...I look like a blimp with my huge coat on, but it was in the single-digits and the wind just bites through you! It was so much fun to be able to go out with the girls and relax! I'm definitely looking forward to the Miss America party this next week!
