C's Big Birthday!

A long time ago in a land far, far away, a baby was born. It was the late seventies, 1979 to be precise, hair bands were taking center stage, Reebok shoes hit the streets, the Rubik Cube became a public phenomenom, and the Walkman cassette player costs only a mere $199.99 so you can play Rod Stewart's "Do You Think I'm Sexy" everywhere you go.

Personally, I believe that C was born listening to Rod Stewart's song, because man, he's still sexy after twenty-nine years! He may not have had the most exciting birthday, especially since he was stuck at the Chicago airport the night before, but here are some pics from his big day!

We went out to dinner at Finley's Restaurant and he got dinner for free! Too bad they don't give discounts for having the last name Finley too...

After dinner we came back to the apartment and Chris got to blow out the candles on his birthday cake. There were only two though, 29 would have been too much of a fire hazard! Tee hee hee!

Yes, I know the cake looks ugly, but really...how are you supposed to decorate a german chocolate cake? Anywho, he's another year older, another year wiser, and I was lucky enough to have another wonderful year with this man - HAPPY BIRTHDAY C!

Glad to see that you didn't put that many candles on... we didn't want you to burn in a fire.

Lol - I think we went to Finley's last year for my b-day because of the free dinner! Did they happen to notice your name was Finley? You should have walked in like you owned the place :)

Dan turns 29 this year too...Man our boys are getting up there!
