Two months ago I turned the beautiful age of 23. My husband was right in the middle of finals and so it was so sweet of him to decorate this cake and get me roses! Thank you sweetie! (Don't you just love our make-shift candles?)

BCFF! We had such a AWESOME time with the Blakes! Thanks for coming out to visit us! Here are just a couple pictures from the week. We went to the Maple Syrup Festival and ate all-you-can-eat breakfast and had our own "Larry the Cable Guy" experience! Git 'r done!

Now this is an absolute masterpiece I had to show off! And no, I didn't make it...I'm just not this amazing, period. This is a home-made Chicken Pot Pie from Sister Brace in my Branch. Isn't it just the cutest thing ever? She even printed a little "F" into the crust with a butterfly! Thank you!
Here's the latest style of shoes! Doesn't he just look hot in them? C took the Blake's over to Holland, MI for the day where they explored Windmill Island, looked at the tulips, and tried to walk in wooden shoes!
Now this is just to show off! I'm so excited for our new Primary boards! Yeah, they may just be the visage of our primary room, but I really think they spruce things up! Aren't those women crafty?
Another thing that I don't have pictures of is the week my parents came to visit. It was so great! We drove up to Flint and dropped C off at the airport, drove to Frankenmuth (Christmas Village), then to the UP and back down along the West Coast. When I get pics I'll have to post them - it was such a fun trip! I miss my parents - they always take care of me!

Heeeeeeeeeeey...when did you go to all these festivals?! I swear I try to get people to go and no one ever comes with us! SO frustrating! Anyway, looks like you guys are having a blast - we need to hang out more often! Happy Belated birthday too!
Lol...did you guys take the "tour" of how they make the maple syrup? We thought it was pretty interesting :)
C went to all the festivals when our friends were in town. I went across the entire state with my parents and had a blast visiting the festivals with them! But we LOVE to go to those types of things...so keep the invites coming and maybe next time we'll make it!
Yes, the so-called "tour" was hilarious! I don't think I understood a word of what he said!
