Pure Awesomeness!

I am definitely luck to have a hubby who will blog for me when I am unable! Thank you for your concern, yes, I am feeling better! Unfortunately, C is feeling worse. I think I gave him my bug! Anywho, you are probably sad that I'm back on here writing versus hearing from the main man himself - sorry!

One of the main reasons I haven't been on here in a while is because I went to GIRL'S CAMP! Seriously, I have always loved camp and probably always will - it is pure awesomeness! Plus, I was blessed enough to be paired with Cassandra Arvoy, who is totally my cup of tea! Here are some pics from the week!

Here is me going down the wall! By the way, I have pics of a lot of people, so I'll email them out to you so you can stick them on your own blog! You'd probably tell the story better!

Here is me after putting on what C would call the right "equipment" for the day! It was so great to be back in a harness and wearing gear again - I miss the thrill of hanging off a cliff! Although, I did it safely this time - this is the first time I've ever worn a helmet! Safety first...I guess!
These are all the amazing ladies that were leaders at Girls' Camp. You can see miss Heidi front and center, she was planned down to the T and was absolutely amazing with the girls! I'm so glad that I was able to spend a week with her! Honestly, I kinda miss just hanging out with the girls!
Here is a pic of the Youth Camp Leaders aka YCL's. They are outstanding women who really are going places I never even dreamed of. They have all lead much stronger lives than I have and truly define being steadfast.

This is the whole group of us at camp. 54 Young Women, 15 leaders, 2-3 priesthood, and a lot of estrogen! Definitely made for a great week at the D-Bar-A Scout Camp!

Along with my amazing Napoleon Dynamite skills comes archery. Heck yes, I rock. Geez.

Can you tell that we might have had a little too much sugar? Sister Arvoy and I were together for part of a skit and man was it exciting! Candy wrappers everywhere, ratted hair, and melted chocolate - the perfect combination!

But after the many years of youth activities I've been involved with, I have to reflect. What is a youth activity without the Grey Squirrel? So here is a little sampler...I think I've started a new Michigan camp trend (at least for 2008).

Mom, I hope you're proud of me. I never had to show my face or do the chicken dance for putting my elbows on the table. Dad, I hope you're proud of me. I had very early mornings with very late nights and attempted to do what you've done every day of your life. And to the brothers, I hope you're proud of me. I can burp with the best of them!

And that's a quick re-cap of my last week! Now it's back to the 8 to 5 days!
