BCFF & Free Zoo Day!

This week has been a sour grapes week. Nothing seems to be going right, everything I try blows up in my face, and I just haven't been feeling comfortable in my own skin. Yet today, I was reminded of why I am so blessed and how there are amazing people put into our lives for a reason. Sorry, this is probably sounding super sappy right now, I apologize.

C and I are so lucky to have the coolest friends in the world. We received a package from our BCFF's today and it has some awesome things! Candy and treats, Michigan photos from the trip, games, facials and creams (for me!), stickers, sidewalk chalk, fart putty, and even the little babies that have been passed across the country twice now! (Juber...you know those plastic babies you sent us? We sent them back to Cedar with the Blake's and they just shipped them back to us, who should get them next?)

We have had so much fun with the Blake's over the years! Kirk, C and I were all Resident Assistants...Kelli and I were in the triangle...Kirk and I did GHA...Kirk, Kelli, and I were Presidential Ambassadors...this is a friendship that was meant to be! I just wanted to say thank you for your sweet words and friendship.

Inside of the BCFF package was another fun thing too...a Pace Present! Pace sent me the Grey's Anatomy soundtrack - amazing! I love this girl! Pace stood by me through some really hard times in my life and is definitely one of my BFF's. Good luck moving up to happy valley and keep in touch.

The other good thing about today - FREE ZOO DAY! I absolutely love animals and going to the zoo! Just ask C, on our honeymoon we spent the majority of the time at Sea World and the San Diego Zoo - BCFF's you can start laughing and doing the arm wave now!

Anywho, I went to the Potter Park Zoo today with my co-worker Stefanie and her daughter Solvieg. So much fun! Here are some of the pics.

I think I know where I'm going to spend my next birthday - the Zoo! Stefanie said that if you do a birthday party there, they will let you have your own petting zoo. How awesome is that?

Hey! I have a question. What are your friends names that are coming to MSU from Cedar? We went to our old ward and heard of a family we knew before we left that are coming to MSU too, we just thought they might be the same people. Let me know! That's exciting!
