The Final Countdown...

The Return to Utah Countdown Clock has finally made its debut to the top of the blog. For months I've been hiding it at the bottom, trying not to get too excited. But now, summer is starting to fade away, and friends keep telling me "Only 20 Saturdays left!", "You'll be home before you know it!", and my dad's mantra, "Only 150 days left!"

I'm finally starting to believe that we will be leaving Michigan, and I'm ready embrace it. Chris will be in Michigan until his classes are over, so probably until the first week of December. I will be leaving as soon as I find a new job, preferrably along the Wasatch Front. I'm going to start looking in October - so wish me luck and send me any job openings you hear about!

Chris and I have been sick with a nasty sinus infection and have basically been sleeping a lot. I think its almost gone though (thanks to expired NyQuil [no, I didn't know it was expired when we were taking it]), and we'll up and moving in time for our trip to Nauvoo on Friday! We'll be in Nauvoo for 3 days visiting the sites and seeing the Alvesteffer's perform in the pageant!

Two days after we get back from Nauvoo I'm flying out to NEW YORK CITY! Its a very last minute trip with my co-worker. She found airfare for $30 [roundtrip!] and I just couldn't say no! So now I need suggestions, we are only going to be there for two days, what are the can't miss places to visit in New York? What are the best places to eat?
