Tonight's fight is an epic one, one that has been raging for centuries! Lets introduce the competition:
In one corner we have MICHIGAN - the recession-loving, tooth-missing, auto-creating state!
In the other corner is Michigan's greatest opponent. This opponent has been going strong for two and a half years now and despite all of the blows driven in the state of Michigan it just keeps going. This unworthy opponent is the FINLEY'S CARS!
Let's review the stats as they lie:

Live Deer [unharmed] - Broken Headlights - 1 pt to Michigan
Fake Deer [seriously harmed] - Nothing - 1 pt to the Finley's
Ice Storm - Bashed in passenger side - 1 pt to Michigan
Red-Light Runner - Bashed in passenger side - 1 pt to Michigan
Stake Conference Hit-and-Run - Bashed in drivers side - 1 pt to Michigan
Hose Issues - Fixed by a Finley - 1 to Finley's
The score is 4-2 Michigan, can the Finley's avert disaster in their final 50 days and get double points? Lets go to the ring now for a play-by-play:
Finley drives to work, looks like she's going to make it safely - OH WAIT! What is that flying off of the semi in front of her just as she gets off her exit? It looks like a huge mud flap, yes Bob, I believe it is a large mud flap!
Finley is weighing her options, she has cars on both sides, can't slam on her brakes, what is she going to do? She better think quickly!
I can't believe it! She's bracing for impact - she's going to go straight through it! Oh man, it slammed into the front and then ripped along her bottom - did you hear that? Let's look at the final tally from the judges and remember, this is the double-point round!

That's right Michigan - eat my shorts! The already broken car can't be broken any more! After 2.5 years of torture at the abuse of Michigan roads and drivers, our cars are still going. I was about to cry this morning until I saw how my beautiful Lumina pulled through. All it got was a few minor scratches, no visible damage along the bottom - plus, it isn't leaking any more than normal! Whoohoo! Everyone cross your fingers that we can make it through the next two months without any more car issues!
P.S. I'm knocking on any piece of wood I can find...

Remind me to hide ALL the car keys when you come back as we no longer have collision insurance on any of the cars!

I have been thinking about you ALL day. I miss you!! And I'll be honest, I forget to check your blog sometimes. I need to figure out how to sign up so every time you update I get an email right!
So how are you doing! I really have been thinkin about you since we moved. you are such a sweet heart and a great friend. I'm go glad you are going back to UTAH! I'm going to start reading the posts I missed, cause you;ll probably talk about why and how!
