Graduation Trip

Chris and I headed back to Michigan this last weekend for the Thomas M. Cooley Law School Graduation. It was a very quick trip considering we didn't get in until after 10PM on Friday and left Sunday afternoon, but we feel very fortunate to have been able to go.

Friday night Chris and I went to BWW's and enjoyed the food and re-stocked on garlic parmesan sauce, yummy! We also stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Okemos and when we checked in they upgraded us to the suite - whoohoo!

Saturday we visited Lansing's new City Market and saw the Sybrowsky's at The Grain Market. The Grain Market is very cool and if you haven't been you should totally go! We also bought our first Cooley gear (we figured the curse couldn't get us at this point...), and had a pre-graduation celebration at Troppo's.

Graduation was awesome! Chris walked and made the silly cap and gown look awesome! They even gave him the actual diploma which is huge, I don't know where I'm going to find a frame that size.

After graduation we shot down to Potterville and ate at Joe's Gizzard City! French Fries, Fried Cheeseburger, Gizzards, Mozzeralla Sticks, Fried Cheesecake, Fried Oreos, Fried Nutterbutters, and even more fried goodness. I think I just lost a couple years off my life.

Sunday we were able to grab breakfast with my previous co-workers. It was so great to see them, it makes me miss them even more than I already do!
