How Much Has Changed in Six Years

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! We didn't dress up, we didn't go to a party (tonight), and we didn't go smashing pumpkins, but I can tell you that we met Snow White! C & K only had one trick-or-treater all night, but she was definitely the cutest! Abbie was such a cute princess and stole all our candy, plus, she definitely brightened "Chrysalis" all-study night.

Everything has been progressing here in Michigan though. The semester is creeping by for C and K is still just working. We were told that there would be a snow/ice storm in the next ten days, so we are just waiting to see what the crazy MI weather does next.

Also, I saw this done on one of my friends blogs and I thought it might be interesting to examine how much life does change over a six year period. Whoever wants to repost this to their blogs so that I can see what's changed - feel free to do so! This is K's six year change (C's will come at a later date):

Six Years Ago:

1.) How old were you?: 16
2.) Where did you go to school? Bonneville High - Home of the Lakers
3) Where did you work? Babysitting and just starting Blockbuster Video
4.) Where did you live? Home, with my parents
5.) Where did you hang out? Everywhere, Sharlene's, Hailey's, the Crew's
6.) Did you wear glasses? Contacts (glasses on the rare occasion)
7.) Who were your best friends? Jenalee, Margie, Sharlene, Jamie, Kassie, etc.
8.) What car did you drive? 1987 Buick Century (The Ghettolicious Beast)
9.) Had you been to a real party? Nope.
10.) Had You had your heart broken? Nope.

Three Years Ago
1.) How old were you? 19
2.) Where did you go to school? Southern Utah University
3.) Where did you work? SUU Centrum Ticket Office, SUU Admissions, SUU Housing
4.) Where did you live? SUU Housing and Residence Life, Eccles B100's
5.) Where did you hang out? From a rope at the Green Valley Gap or the Bowling Alley, Admissions Office, RA Lounge, Amy's
6.) Did you wear glasses? Contacts, and still glasses rarely
7.) Who were your close friend(s)? Pace Sauce, Jenalee, Amy, Shyanne, Leslie, Emily, etc.
8.) What car did you drive? 1995 Chevy Lumina
9.) Had your heart broken? Technically, No.
10.) Single/Taken/Married/Divorced? Very, very single.

Today
1.) How old are you? 22
2.) Where do you work? A consulting firm
3.) Where do you live? Lansing, MI
4.) Do you wear glasses? Still contacts...
5.) Who are your close friends? Pace Sauce, Kelli, Tiny Dancer, Shyanne, Jenalee, Leslie, etc.
6.) Do you talk to your old friends? Not nearly as often as I should, but the ones that have wanted to I'll keep around as long as they'll let me!
7.) What kind of car do you drive? Still the Lumina, but every once in a while I get to touch C's Durango, OOooooh!
8.) Has your heart been broken? Nope, just fixed to work right!
9.)Single/Taken/Married/Divorced? Married, and lucky!

Interesting fact from K's last six years...she has moved ten times! She is definitely sick of moving. Plus, the next time they make a BIG move, such as from MI to UT, she won't be driving. She plans on selling everything and buying a 4 hour plane ticket home. She might even spring for first class...luxury.

Sorry, I've been somewhat nostalgic lately looking back at the things that have happened to me and where I've come from. It's true what they say that you never really know what you have until it's gone. Someday I'll look back at this experience and miss it. I hope everyone has a great Halloween and that you get to pretend you are whomever you wish to be!
