Girls Camp Pictures

As promised, here are the pictures from Girls Camp this year! You probably won't take the time to look at them all, which I totally understand! I put them all on here for the few of you that attended, but in a month or so you'll have your own CD of them!

Our theme this year was PURE...Girls Camp, and we had the cutest t-shirts and decorated everything flowery (tissue paper flowers, balloon flowers, silk flowers, the whole she-bang!). Monday we went up and decorated all the cabins and the main areas, plus all the YCL's came up and they learned all the Sunflowering activities.

Tuesday, everyone came up and Deserae Fowler gave the girls an awesome talk, they did some bouldering and rappelling, as well as some swim time since it was ninety-five degrees and eighty-five percent humidity. I totally thought I was going to melt to death!

There were tons of cute crafts that the girls got to make (don't worry, I snuck into the craft cabin and made some too!), plus there was archery, rifles, horseback riding, a ropes course, and much more!

The skit night was awesome, the Stake Presidency and High Council came up and they even performed skits. Some of the highlights would probably be on day 1 when they tipped the canoe and rowed it in underwater. The last night they did sumo wrestling - they even had a championship belt! And definitely our final activity leading to the tree. Absolutely amazing!

It was such a great week and I will miss it next year. I think I've finally caught up on sleep - but whew! It was a roller-coaster week!
