Dear UEC Student,Looks like SUU didn't have to find a way to get rid of me, the legislators did it for them.
We are sorry to inform you that due to legislative budget cuts, the Utah eLearning Connection (UEC) will be terminated as of June 30, 2009. Spring Semester 2009 will wrap-up as normal with your grades transferred back to your home institution. New student accounts and registration requests for Summer Semester and beyond will not be accepted. Over the next few months, the UEC will transition your enrollment history and records to your home institution. Enrollment services will now be conducted by your home school; you will need to work with them directly.
We appreciate your support as the UEC has grown over the past nine years. We have enjoyed working with you to help you reach your educational goals and we thank you for your support. In the next month, you will receive contact information from your home school about how to continue your education with them for future semesters. Please check the UEC website http://www.uec.org/ for updates and contact information.
Thank you,
Utah eLearning Connection
Here's hoping they'll still count me as a Utah resident since Michigan doesn't want me...

Darn those legislators! I wouldn't have kicked you out!
Kara - this is so unfortunate! I am sorry.
But...add your blog to the SUU alumni blog http://suualumni.blogspot.com/ and encourage other alumni who are blogging to do the same!
